Lancaster House (3c Galileo – Quiet Oasis, by Oasis Dream) followed up on his ultra-impressive debut when justifying favoritism in the Meadowview Stables Race at Tipperary.
An eight length winner at the Galway Festival earlier in the month, he was reunited with Donnacha O’Brien, who rode him to track the leaders. Travelling well in the straight, he led from the two furlong pole and was ridden out under hands and heels to score by a length and a half.
The winning jockey later commented, “He’s a nice horse and was more professional today. He bounced out and did everything right, stuck at it well and will stay a little further. I’d be happy to say he’s a Group horse and we’ll see from there.”
Lancaster House provides a lovely update for his full-sister offered by Barronstown Stud at the Tattersalls Book 1 Yearling Sale. He is the first foal out of Quiet Oasis, twice a Graded winner and Grade 1 placed in the US.
