Sir Alex Ferguson can start dreaming of a potential 2013 Derby challenge after Telescope earned quotes as short as 12-1 following his promising Newmarket win.
Manchester United boss Ferguson, whose colours were carried to victory in the 2002 2,000 Guineas by Rock of Gibraltar, is one of 12 shareholders in the Highclere Thoroughbred syndicate which own the Sir Michael Stoute-trained colt.
